Soluble Products of Finite Groups
Abstract
If
is the soluble product of its subgroups
and
, then a natural question is how the structure of
is influenced by the structure of
and
. In particular, can the derived length be bounded in terms of invariants of
and
. There are many results in this direction, but very little is known about best possible bounds. We survey some of these results.
